What is MITA?

MITA is an emerging eyewear brand born from Miami’s energetic lifestyle with deep roots in Italian design, artistry and craftmanship. The name MITA represents the union between MI for Miami, home of VOT, and ITA for Italy that evokes fashion and design.

What is the MITA movement? / what is the million bottle challenge?

The MITA movement, represents a new way of approaching fashion through environmental consciousness. Through our designs, we want to engage older and new generations on ways of helping protect our environment when buying eyewear. This is how the “million bottle challenge” is born.
Every bottle counts! So for every purchase made, MITA eyewear donates 2% of each sale to its partner Ocean Blue Project in an effort to help clean up our oceans and create consciousness through sustainable fashion.

What is sustainability and why is it important?

Sustainability is being able to use the resources needed to survive without depleting them. We should care about it because if we don't use our resources wisely they could run out and nobody will be able to use them. This is why MITA focuses on the message of helping our environment. We must create a new consumer culture of taking care of our resources for current future generations, while still being cool and fashionable.

MITA eyewear first and foremost offers the invaluable commitment of helping the environment. Our offerings of true fashionable and sustainable eyewear designs, is what sets us apart from our competitors.

We take pride on being fully sustainable from the design process to the final production and packaging of our eyewear. Our core believe is that fashion should not come at the expense of the environment.

How long will it take to get my order?
We offer Free ground shipping through UPS for orders going to the contiguous 48 USA states. Standard times apply (3-5 Business Days).

For orders going to Alaska and Hawaii, STANDARD shipping will take 2-4 weeks.

For orders going to Military Bases, STANDARD shipping will take 4 weeks.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to the United States, Latin America & Europe

Do I have to pay customs & taxes (outside the US)?

MITA Eyewear is not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, transfers from USPS to the local carrier in your country or air and ground transportation strikes or delays once the package has exited the United States. All duties and taxes are to be covered by the final consumer.

Can I track my order?

Yes, following your order confirmation, you should receive a tracking confirmation # you can track on ups.com. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@mitaeyewear.com

What should I do if I receive an error message when trying to place an order?

Confirm you’ve properly filled out all details including your name, email, shipping address and phone number. If you are still having issues, please contact us at hello@mita-eyewear.com

What if I haven’t received a confirmation email?

As soon as your order is placed, you should receive an email confirmation. If you checked out with PayPal, be sure to check the email account associated with your account. For further questions, please contact us at hello@mita-eyewear.com
