Return policy

The MITA Promise

Our purpose is to offer beautifully crafted high quality sustainable eyewear, at affordable prices. We will gladly refund your full priced eyewear if for any reason you’re not totally satisfied with your purchase within 30 days of delivery date. Items must be unworn and in resalable condition, with its original packaging. Refunds will be applied to your original form of payment.

For manufacturing defects, exchanges are available within 1 month of delivery date.

For any order discrepancies or damaged items received must be reported within 5 days of item delivery. Include your order number, a brief description of the issue & a picture of the eyewear. Send to

Non-Prescription Order Return Policy

Please contact us at  and make sure to include your full name, order number and reason for the return/refund request. 

Once authorized:

  • Pack your return in a well-padded box to prevent damage in transit and include a copy of the invoice and return slip. The eyewear must arrive in good condition, with tags and case.
  • Please expect 14 business days for your order to be processed, once we receive it. During peak season, allow extra processing time due to higher-than-normal volumes. You’ll receive an email confirmation when your return is completed. Please note: Depending on your issuing bank, your credit may not show until your next billing cycle.
  • A shipping fee of $8.25 will be deducted from your refund.
  • We will not be responsible for eyewear delivered to an incorrect address supplied by the sender. Please make sure to check your shipping information twice.
  • No returns are accepted for International orders.

 Prescription Order Cancelation /Return Policy

We strive to offer a seamless buying experience to our customers. With this, we have a very smooth full & partial cancellation policy set for our customers as below:

  • In case of Prescription Eyeglasses/Sunglasses, no return/refund will be offered if wrong prescription values are entered by the customer at the time of order placement.
  • In case of Prescription/Zero Power Eyeglasses/ Sunglasses, order can be cancelled before the order is processed (Usually within 12 hours after the order is placed.) Acceptance of the cancellation requests post this time, will be completely at the discretion of management team based on the status of the order. 
  • MITA offers a store credit 100% on the prescription lenses. Customer has to send the frame back to MITA office. (Total Selling price – Return shipping fees = Store credit).
  • No returns are accepted for International orders.

 Unethical Purchase & Cancellation Policy 

  • In case of any purchase made through unethical means; by taking advantage of a technical glitch; or by misusing the offer terms/guidelines/codes - the particular order/s will be cancelled whatsoever and will not be liable to pay any refund to the customers in all such cases.
  • Also, if it is observed that a user is placing multiple/bulk orders and is also returning/cancelling the same; reserves the right to charge a substantial return/cancellation fee from the user - which could also be the entire order amount, hence, no refund will be processed.
  • At any point of time, if finds that the MITA Eyewear Rewards has been misused by a customer by falsifying the Email Id or Mobile Number; will cancel the order and no refund will be paid.


    MITA Eyewear offers a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty from invoice date against any manufacturer’s defects, defined as the breaking of solder or weld points, discoloration of finishes not associated with normal wear, loosening of embedded hinges, etc., and any ancillary part or detail of a frame that is defective. Abused eyewear will not be warranted under any conditions.
