Our mission is to keep our community and natural habitats free of garbage with a focus on single-use plastics.

“Our wildlife and its habitat cannot speak, so we must and we will” – Theodore Roosevelt

Our goal is to provide a clean place for our residents and visitors, and a safe environment where our beautiful wildlife can thrive. We achieve this by:

Mobilizing the community for weekly beach and wetlands clean ups.
Working with and advising local businesses to promote sustainable business practices.
Educating and spreading awareness about the negative impact of single-use plastics on our ecology.
Proposing and supporting local ordinances drawn to protect the natural habitat of our marine wildlife.

Clean Miami Beach, Inc is a nonprofit organization founded by Miami Beach resident Sophie Ringel.
